Why students run it.
The Center’s model is student-led, and the Challenge is where that’s most true. The people who run it are students.
- They match every team with one to three mentors.
- They give every team a pool of Regis students to choose its Student Team Member from.
- They find real customers for every team to interview.
- They run the season, from the Kick-Off to Finals night.
Running a season teaches what it takes to start something. Then they take it with them.
Directing the 10th season.
Adin McPherson and Nathaniel Deryl were two of the three Regis freshmen who founded Agera, an AI platform that connects Africa’s agricultural system to cut crop loss. Agera reached the 2024–25 Finals.
In 2025 they became the Challenge’s Co-Student Directors. Now they’re running its 10th season, and building Agera and Brimeo.
