What Happens Next?
Resume & Preferences – After submitting your student team member application, we’ll reach out to you in November requesting that you provide your resume and indicate your top three preferred teams.
Introductions – Following the qualifying pitches on November 19th and 20th, we will share your resume with qualifying teams and make introductions between you and the teams (businesses) you indicated wanting to work with.
Team Selection – From there, founders will review student applicants via an informal interview and select their team member(s).
Note: Although introductions will not be made until late November, students are welcome (and encouraged!) to sign up anytime after August 25th. By signing up early, you’ll be added to our contact list, kept up to date on important details, and invited to attend our kick-off event on October 26th.
*We do not guarantee a spot on a team as it is up to the businesses to decide.
Hear from a former student about his experiences working as student team member in the Innovation Challenge.
Spencer was a student team member during the 2023-2024 Innovation Challenge with Vydar Medical, a company founded by a former Regis MBA student focused on developing a medical device for use in EMS. Although his team was eliminated in the semi-finals of the challenge, he was offered the opportunity to continue working with Vydar, and was eventually granted equity in the company.
